Chapter Six:
I went on a date with a guy last night. He is a friend of mine, but he really likes me… so I thought I’d give it a shot. When he got to my house I hopped in his truck and we went to the movies. We saw The Hangover II, it was pretty funny but it was hard to pay attention when all I could think about was how his hand was on his left thigh, palm up, waiting for me to grab it. I kept my arms folded, close to my waist. I didn’t want to give him the wrong impression, especially when I didn’t even know if I liked him. After the movies we walked out to the car, he got in on the driver’s side and I let myself into the passenger’s seat. I want a gentleman… Someone that will open the door for me. Anyways, when we got to my house we decided to smoke a bit then we walked to the park and went on the swings. We sat and talked for awhile and I couldn’t help thinking of what kind of guy I want and he wasn’t anything like it. All I wanted to do was go inside lay in my bed and watch The Notebook. I said goodnight and he gave me a hug goodbye. I got a text this morning saying he had a great night last night and how he wants to go out again soon. ugh.
